Located under the Cathedral, the early Christian Basilica of St. Vigilius presents an incredible setting spanning centuries dense with history.
It was brought to light by excavations conducted between 1964 and 1977, and to resurface was the original place of worship whose foundation is attributed to Vigilius, the third bishop and patron saint of Trent, whose remains were preserved there for centuries.
To make the visit even more evocative, visitors can find a new itinerary enhanced by videos, multimedia stations and immersive virtual reality viewers.
